내가 모래일지니
나의 몸이 작음이라
많은 이가 나를 짓밟으니
나의 마음이 무거움이라
내가 모래일지니
나의 몸이 가벼움이라
파도에 휩쓸리고 가라 앉으니
나의 마음이 황폐함이라
그러나
내가 모래일찌니
바람에 몸이 깎이신 반석의 자손이라
고귀한 희생의 산물이라
내가 짓밟혀도 으깨지지 않고
내가 휩쓸려도 섞이지 않기에
내가 모래임에 감사 하리라
내가 모래일지니
내가 기뻐할지니
