내가 믿음의 눈으로 주님의 전에 올랐더니
그가 나의 발에 신을 신기시고 새 힘을 허락하셨다
내 주께서 내게 용기를 주시고 그를 통하여
그 분의 강함을 내 약함으로 나타내셨도다
커다란 파도가 이 불길을 덮친들 꺼뜨리지 못하리라
주님은 살아있는 내 조상의 하나님이시요
또한 살아있는 내 후손의 하나님이시니
세상의 머리부터 발 끝까지 주님을 덮친들
주님을 온전히 덮지 못하리라
